Reishi Mushrooms 靈芝

Reishi is a polypore mushroom that grows on fallen hemlock trees in Asia and North America. Discovered thousands of years ago first in the mountainous regions of China, Reishi has long been used in traditional Chinese medicine. Reishi has earned many accolades throughout history, from “Ling Zhi” in Chinese, which stands for a “plant that nourishes the spirit,” to “the "Queen of Mushrooms" in other traditions. The polysaccharides and beta glucans found in the mushroom make it stand out in the fungal family.
For centuries, people have invented many ways of consuming the mushroom, from brewing Reishi Mushroom tea or coffee to incorporating it in dessert and dishes.
