Our commitment is to balanced nutrition and innovative ingredients. Unlike most gluten-free baked goods that rely on almond flours, coconut flours, tapioca, and rice flours, we've crafted our menu with a diverse range of nutritious ingredients like fruit powders, protein powder, and fiber to empower you with a well-rounded diet and nourishing options.

• Our RTE cakes can stay fresh in the fridge for ~5 days after purchase, or freeze for 3 months. Simply microwave the 30s-60s to thaw MOYU rapidly or move the cake from the freezer to the refrigerator several hours before eating.

Pasture-raised eggs are laid by hens that can spend their days outdoors roaming the pastures as they please. Our pasture-raised girls have access to a minimum of 108 square feet each, unlike cage-free birds that have far less freedom. On average, cage-free birds get a maximum of 1.2 square foot of space per bird and may rarely, if ever, see the sunlight. Our eggs are from hens that have access to fresh air and sunshine year-round.

MOYU cakes are powered by Konjac, a USDA dietary fiber. We spent two year creating/testing through hundreds of formulations in a quest to recreate our tasty cakes with nutritious ingredients. We eventually figured out a way to include balanced nutritions—like protein and healthy fats (such as nuts, seeds, coco butter.) without the bad stuff you don’t (sugar, flour, butter, etc.)

We are committed to no added sugar for all of our products. All our sweeteners are carefully-crafted from plants selected for their specific flavors, textures, and nutrition.

Our sweeteners are jujube, dates, banana, apple, monk fruit, stevia, allulose.

Not all carbs are created equal. Fiber and (most) natural sweeteners don’t affect your blood sugar. It is a popular nutritional measurement in the diabetic, Atkins, and keto communities. 

Net carbs = carbs - fiber - allulose - sugar alcohols

As you can see on our nutrition label, MOYU’s top ingredients are eggs, plant proteins (ie. pea protein), and yogurt.  (our RTE cakes protein pdcaas score is above 0.94)

1 serving of MOYU has 10-15g grams of high-quality protein, which is at least 3 times more than other popular cake brands! 

We chose Pea Protein Isolate as our plant protein source due to its high-quality protein content, excellent amino acid profile, and its suitability for individuals with common allergies like soy and dairy. 

It is generally considered easily digestible by humans. It is a hypoallergenic protein source and is well-tolerated by most people, even those with sensitive digestive systems.

Pea Protein Isolate is also considered a complete protein because it contains all nine essential amino acids that the body cannot produce on its own. It provides a well-rounded profile of amino acids, making it a valuable source of protein in plant-based diets.

Allulose is a rare sugar found in foods like figs and maple syrup. It tastes just like the sugar you’re used to, but has almost no glycemic impact and almost zero calories (less than 0.4 cal/g).

Monk fruit is a small green gourd-like fruit native to Southern China. Its natural sweetness comes from compounds called mogrosides, making it a popular zero-calorie sweetener. It is used as an alternative to regular sugar in various food and beverage products for its low-carb and diabetic-friendly properties.

The majority of our ingredients are carefully sourced from US farms, and family farms, distributors, and reliable brands. Our Konjac is directly imported from the farm we know in Yunnan.

Ready to Eat Bread Cakes:

We only do UPS 1-2day shipping. Regular package for areas below 60 degrees, and COLD package with ice packs for areas above 60 degrees. 

We monitor weather and temperature carefully when shipping. We highly recommend you to keep your eye out for your deliveries, and put them into the fridge as soon as MOYU is delivered.

Our mix are shipped by our third party partners from our warehouse , you can pick shipping speed when checking out.

These compostable pouches are vegan, non-GMO, and are not made with PLA. They do not contain harmful chemicals such as bisphenol (including BPA and over a dozen other derivatives), PFAS, or phthalates.
